I earned my undergraduate degree from Idaho State University and hold the Finra Series 7, 24, and 66 securities registration. I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation through the College for Financial Planning. I also hold the Private Investment Management (PIM) Portfolio Manager designation through Wells Fargo Advisors.

I have worked as a Financial Advisor to both individual and institutional investors since 1983 to provide integrated wealth management and investment planning services. My wife Rhonda and I live in Idaho Falls where we spend time enjoying the outdoors and spending time with our married children and grandchildren.

community gave me a strong work ethic and personal sense of optimism for the future. Today I continue to apply those skills as a financial advisor, helping my clients plant and nurture the seeds of their future with the aim of reaping a bountiful harvest.

I work with a range of clients including business owners, foundations, retirees, individuals and families - including multiple generations of families. A gifted problem solver and helper by nature, my clients rely on me as their trusted resource for questions. My goal is always to help simplify the complexities of their finances and investing. I have lived in Idaho my entire life, except during a 2-year ecclesiastic mission to Denmark. My wife and I are the proud parents of a son and four daughters. I was a former high school and college wrestler as well as a high school wrestling coach for 10 years. I am an avid adventurer who stays active outdoors
mountaineering, backcountry skiing, and whitewater rafting. As competitive cyclist, I also race both road and mountain bikes. I am active in my faith and enjoy woodworking and spending time with my family.

For 30 years and counting, I have been a Financial Advisor. With integrity and trust I have helped many clients build, manage, preserve, and transition wealth. As a licensed advisor, I understand how critical it is to do what is best for each individual client.

I was raised in Southeast Idaho where during my high school years I milked cows, cut poles and posts with my father and brothers, and also wrestled earning 2 state championship titles. I went on to serve a 2 year LDS mission then, after returning home, I wrestled for Ricks College while completing a 2 year associate degree. I then went on to BYU Provo to earn my bachelors and Masters Degrees. I grew up in Island Park where I developed a love for the outdoors and learned a strong work ethic. I enjoy hunting, snowmobiling, boating with my family, and spending time with them in the Yellowstone and Teton National park areas. There we enjoy biking, hiking, and exploring.

My wife, Jolana, and I are the proud parents of one daughter and three sons. I enjoy having my eldest son, Chase, working alongside me. It has been a great privilege to pass on many lessons I learned from my father to my son in our career together. My father taught me “whatever you do today is coming back to you tomorrow.” This advice is the center of my career, as it guides my decisions for clients to help me be aware of the best decisions from the very beginning as I am serving my clients.

As a newer advisor entering the industry at the end of 2022, I bring a fresh perspective and dedication to guiding clients towards their financial goals. My journey as an advisor has been marked by a steadfast commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs and crafting tailored strategies to help them achieve their goals.
